Participating in the FSA this past summer was an extremely rewarding experience for me. Since I already lived in Los Angeles, I attended the program while maintaining my full time architecture job. A key part of my experience at the FSA was the timing of my attendance - a year after graduating from my undergraduate degree, and a few months before I started to submit applications for graduate school. I used the opportunity to expose myself to new and unique ideas on architecture education, and to help direct my focus for my future. The FSA gave me exposure to people who all had pretty diverse backgrounds and knowledge to share. Through that exposure, I learned a lot about the boundaries of architecture and what my personal interests are, ultimately leaving me more confident in how I want to curate my future.
